An aspect of New York life I never anticipated (but should have) is dealing with the constant flow of the city's population. Basically people come into your life and leave in the blink of an eye. I've been a witness to this in the short time I've live here. It makes me sad.
Today my laundromat lady, Christine, told me she's moving back to her country in the middle of June. She can't stay here legally any longer. I'm going to miss her.
